Just letting you know my “Tiny luck elephant” pattern is included in the recently published Amigurumi for Beginners Bookazine. I´m so proud it has been featured on the front cover of the magazine! You should check it out (page 84!!!), because together with lots of cute designs there are thorough stitch explanations and many technical tips for complete beginners included in the edition.
My second book “Kaisuloomakirg” was just published and I feel so so happy! The book is available in Estonian, but it is quite possible that it will be translated into English in the future. I will definitely keep you posted :)
The preparations of the book took more than a year. I guess you probably noticed I didn`t post much and didn`t publish new patterns. Well, now I´m in my normal working mode again and I have plenty of ideas to accomplish!
If you want to sneak peek between the covers, then my beloved husband made this lovely video.
There is a new super awesome book published by Amigurumipatterns.net. It`s “Amigurumi Circus”. I feel proud that my Chatterbox the Clown is one of the 13 designs chosen from the original competition for this book.
As a whole the book is so colorful and fun! And inspirational!
Thank you Joke for bringing out another wonderful book for amigurumi lovers.

It has been quiet lately here in my blog, you probably have noticed it. However, that isn`t because of a creative crises or anything like that :) I am working hard on a new book which will be released in the autumn here in Estonia.
The book will contain something old as well as something new. Patterns that have already been published, some new patterns of toys made earlier which have never become patterns and then of course brand new designs. I want to keep them in secret at the moment.
Today I want to show you some photos of Doris, she is the part of the new book too. Well, is she photogenic! (not sure if people use that word, I mean she looks gorgeous on photos). Perhaps it sounds weird to you, but not all the toys are equally good for photographing. I felt this wonderful “click” with Doris today and instead of one picture made plenty of them to share with all of you.
Lately I haven`t been posting much in my blog or Facebook page. The good news is I have discovered Instagram!!! If you feel curious of what I have been working on lately, then please visit me here: lilleliis_official.
The pattern of “Doris the old-fashioned teddy bear” is available in the shop.
I´m so happy to share the video demonstration of “Magical Amigurumi Toys” with you. It`s the perfect way to flip through the entire book. Hope you enjoy!
The pre-sale runs until April 23 at Amigurumipatterns.net. More information here.
And the big day is here! My first book “Magical Amigurumi Toys” is now available both in English and Dutch. Feeling almost speechless and exuberant at the same time.
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank Joke from Amigurumipatterns.net. She is the true hero behind the scenes. Thank you!
Also I want to thank Diane who wrote this letter a year ago to Joke. Thanks for getting this ball rolling :)
“Magical Amigurumi Toys” is available in 2 versions – PDF or a printed book. Non of them is available at my website as I have trusted this work to the others.
I have put all the relevant information about purchasing the book here. Please follow the links given to get information either about the English or Dutch book.
And lastly, I want to thank you all who you have supported, inspired and simply been there for me. Your comments here in my blog or any other social network mean more than you know. I appreciate you sending me the wonderful photos of the toys you`ve made using my patterns. It inspires me to keep going. Thank you all!
And it`s finally finished – my first book. I received it just yesterday. After working on it for the last year and a half it felt so good to hold it in my hands!
The book was ordered by one of the most popular local publishers. I had the chance to work with professional and very friendly people. For me it was a dream come true to work with a photographer Annika Metsla. She is one of the most famous wedding and portrait photographers here in Estonia.
The book is available in my native language Estonian. I wish it would be in English too, but the publisher doesn`t work abroad. However, I got my first experience on writing a book and it`s worth a lot. Perhaps when the right time comes I will get the chance to publish a book in English too.
The title “Võluväega mänguasjad” means “Magical toys”. I believe that toys made by moms for they kids really got something special in it. I know this because I see how my own kids care about the toys I`ve made for them.
The book consists of 20 patterns. Mostly the ones written between 2010 and 2013. I made some translations of the patterns that were only available in English and added a couple of new ones. I will create a gallery of the book contents quite soon.
