Crocheted Montessori Moon Rattle is a beautiful and conscious gift for a baby.
In the first weeks of life, babies perceive contrasts rather than colors. That is why, according to the Montessori method, black and white toys and toys with strong contrasts are best suited for babies in the first weeks of life.
The wooden ring makes this rattle easy to grab. It makes a soft sound to attract the baby’s attention, but not to scare him too much.
The rattle is guaranteed by our family member Paula, who has played with it since the first months.
The toy is made of organic cotton yarn suitable for baby’s delicate skin. I have used hypoallergenic polyester fiber for the filling.
Designed and handmade by Estonian amigurumi designer Mari-Liis Lille.
