This chenille cat crochet pattern will help you create a soft and squishy amigurumi cat with a unique envelope-shaped body.

It was designed specifically for chenille yarn and has a funky rectangular body shape that resembles an envelope. That’s where it got its funny name!

The cat comes in two versions, each cuter than the other. You can choose between a solid-colored cat with a heart on its tummy or a striped one.

You’ll need only two balls of velvety chenille yarn to make this kitty, plus a small amount of cotton yarn, 12 mm safety eyes, and a piece of cotton fabric.

This amigurumi cat pattern is perfect for intermediate crocheters.
