This amigurumi chick pattern lets you create a tiny chick peeking out of an eggshell – a sweet Easter decoration or a handmade gift.

The design combines two yarns of the same weight: a soft, fluffy chenille yarn for the chick and smooth cotton for the beak and eggshells. The chick itself is beginner-friendly, while the eggshell uses a few different stitches to create the jagged edge.

Little Chick in an Egg shell was created to celebrate Easter. It’s a cute little home decoration or a lovely handmade gift.

The pattern combines two different yarns of the same weight. The chick is made with soft and fluffy chenille yarn, while the beak and eggshells are crocheted with smooth cotton. The combination of different materials plays an important role in the design.

The chick itself is very easy to make and can be completed by beginners as well. To crochet the eggshells, you will need to know a few additional stitches (half double crochet, double crochet and treble crochet) to create the jagged edge.
