    Very well written pattern, I finished it in a day or two and can’t wait to gift this bear to my son! I am going to make myself a matching one.

    I make toys for the local children’s hospital and I have made many of these little bears. Most of the time I use yarn eyes vs safety eyes, as they are intended for babies. I just finished two bears with chunky weight chenille (vs light weight chenille) and they turned out adorable.

    The pattern is very easy to follow and there are MANY photos to help you along the way. A novice crocheter could make this sweet bear though a beginner might need some help with parts of it, particularly the leg-body connection. Otherwise, it’s quite simple.

    I have been making amigurumi for over 40 years (long before it was called amigurumi) and I highly recommend this pattern. I own several of Lilleliis’ patterns, all of which are the same high quality – and I go to them again and again.
