Amigurumi Goat Pattern – Mama Goat (PDF)

Mama Goat amigurumi pattern helps you create a wonderfully detailed crochet goat measuring approximately 32 cm. Designed for advanced crocheters, it is a wonderful project filled with thoughtful details and personality.

Mama Goat was originally created for a farm where goats are raised, capturing the spirit of a hardworking housewife with a warm and slightly mischievous character. She wears a simple wool dress decorated with a front apron, a charming collar, and a lace-trimmed hem for a timeless countryside look.

There are many delightful details to explore throughout the pattern. The transitions from brown to white yarn are made with jagged edges using long single crochets (spike stitch), adding beautiful texture and character.

Her face is especially unique. The embroidered eye patches may require a bit of experimenting to perfect, and the careful stitch placement is what truly brings her expression to life. In fact, achieving symmetry in her facial features may be the biggest challenge — and also the most satisfying part of the project.

And for the brave who peek under her skirt, Mama Goat even has a hint of mischievous hip curves. Though she wears a gentle beard, she is never afraid to stand her ground.
