Essentials Soft Merino Aran by Rico Design is made from pure virgin wool and is ideal for clothing, accessories, and home décor. This high-quality wool is easy to knit or crochet and comes in a wide range of beautiful colors.

As a big fan of using wool yarn for amigurumi, I’ve designed many of my toys with wool in mind. Essentials Soft Merino is a great choice if you’d like to try making amigurumi with wool yarn. It’s lovely to work with, creates a soft texture, and isn’t as hairy as some other wool alternatives—making it especially suitable for detailed work.

  • A great replacement for Drops Lima in all my patterns

  • I used a 2.5 mm crochet hook with this yarn

Finished items will be shipped within 2-5 business days after the payment is received (cleared). It takes approximately 7-10 days inside Europe and 10-21 days outside of Europe for packages to reach their destination.

When sending the payment via bank transfer you will receive the link within 24h of the payment arriving at our bank account.
