Sleepy Owl is the perfect companion for toddlers – soft, safe, and irresistibly cuddly

Amigurumi sleepy owl makes a sweet handmade gift for a baby shower, baptism, or a child’s birthday. For the best result, I recommend crocheting it with cotton yarn – it is gentle on sensitive skin and doesn’t itch like some wool fibers can.

I especially love the owl’s soft pillow-like shape, the playful mix of colors, and those wonderfully drowsy eyes. When made with slightly thicker (aran weight) cotton yarn, the owl grows into a pleasantly generous size without requiring extra effort.
