Welcome everyone to Amigurumi blind Christmas CAL Part 1! I am happy to start this 6 day crochet journey with all of you :) Thinking of how many of you there is and from how many different countries, it really makes my heart jump.

Today we`re going to crochet the first pieces.

Supplies you`ll need:

  • Sport or DK weight (fine or light) cotton or wool in 5 colors – gray, red, white, black and blue. I mixed different leftover materials. For the best result do not change the shade of color A, B, C and D. Color E can be replaced with green or brown.
  • Crochet hook 2.5 mm (or in accordance to the yarn you use)
  • Polyester fiberfill
  • Black safety eyes, 6 mm
  • 2 small buttons
  • Darning needle

Abbreviations:
sc – single crochet, sc2tog – single crochet 2 stitches together (decrease), st(s) – stitch(es), rep – repeat


INFORMATION FOR AMIGURUMI BEGINNERS!

Here you might find help with starting the piece in a magic ring, working single crochet stitch and fastening off the piece.

Let`s go!

Crochet 2 pieces with the same instructions.

1: Color A. Start 8 sc in a magic ring [8]

2: Sc in each st around

3: (Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) rep 4 times [12]

4-5: Sc in each st around

6: (Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 4 times [16]

7-8: Sc in each st around

Fasten off leaving both pieces a long tail for sewing.
