It`s spring again and I decided to show you photos taken some time ago when I went on a walk with Mystique the Fox. To me it was like a challenge of photographing outside. It`s not often that I do this. Usually taking pictures inside seems much easier. However, I really enjoyed it. Nature as a background gives so much liveliness to the photos. It`s amazing how pretty a mossy tree or dried leaves and straws can be.
The design of my amigurumi fox is simple bringing out the beauty of pure wool. I used Drops Lima for making it. I really love the shape of his body, hand stitched face and brushed tail. This is the first time I´m using this technique on my toys.
Mystique the Fox is definitely one of my highlights from the previous years. I have made two animals of this type. The other one is a reindeer which can be found in the book “Cuddly Amigurumi Toys”. Fingers are itching for making some more…
