The second animal of Amigurumi Nordic Forest Mystery CAL is revealed – meet Bubo the Owl! It`s my second amigurumi design for the forest-themed crochet along we started in March.
Now Bubo the Owl pattern is available as a downloadable PDF in English and Estonian. And the good news is, more languages are to come.
Measuring around 15 cm (6 in), it`s the perfect size for the little hands of the toddler.
You`ll get the softest toy if using merino wool, and kids will thank you for that! Many of my course members were amazed how nice it feels to crochet amigurumi with merino wool, and how soft the final toys are.
In my patterns, I always try to achieve cute result with less complicated techniques. I do believe you will enjoy the pattern from the start until the very end, because it`s easy to follow and has lots of photos to illustrate the entire process.
As an intermediate skill level pattern it does contain different stitches, but the overall construction of the toy is simple and manageable even for those who haven`t been making amigurumis for that long.
