Welcome to Amigurumi BLIND cal Part 3. If you missed the previous posts, then here you can find Part 1 and Part 2.

Today we`re going to crochet 3 smaller pieces.

Materials you`ll need today:

  • Color A – beige (I used Alize Cotton Gold, shade 262)
  • Color C – brown (I used Scheepjes Catona, shade 162)
  • Color D – black (I used Scheepjes Catona, shade 110) – colors C and D may be the same weight as the main yarn or only slightly thinner.
  • Polyester fiberfill
  • Crochet hook 2.5 mm (or in accordance to the yarn you use)

Abbreviations:
sc – single crochet, sc2tog – single crochet 2 stitches together (decrease), st(s) – stitch(es), rep – repeat

Let`s go!

FIRST PIECE

1: Color D. Work 6 sc in a magic ring, sl st in first sc.

Fasten off. Leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

SECOND PIECE (make 2)

1: Color C. Start 6 sc in a magic ring [6]

2: Work 2 sc in each st around [12]

3: (Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times [18]

4: Sc in each st around

5-6: Color A. Sc in each st around

7: (Sc in next st, sc2tog) rep 6 times [12]

8-9: Sc in each st around

Fasten off. Leave a long yarn tail for sewing. Stuff the pieces.

      Heather… I am so sorry. It sounds like a bad thing happening somewhere very far away, until you actually meet someone who`s affected by it, whose country is suffering. I cannot imagine how it is to actually live there amidst fires. Let us know if we can help you any way.     Was there suppose to be 2 of the first piece or just one.Also was the first piece suppose to be attached to the second piece like in the picture you attached.Or am I wrong .
