I recently started exploring Christmas color trends 2020. One of the suggested colors for this year is turquoise. So I made a set of gingerbread house ornaments in turquoise with a little addition of brown. How do you like it?

You can check out my last post about Christmas tree garland in navy here.

My gingerbread house crochet pattern was published a year ago. Then I made houses in classical brown + white, and green. Christmas ornaments in turquoise is something new to me. I tend to be more traditional filling my tree mostly with red, white and gold.

I found turquoise too intense, so I combined it with brown and got a really lovely result.

In this set there are 3 houses with small loop for attaching to gifts, and 3 houses with longer loop for putting on the tree. The houses can be attached into a garland as well. All options are explained in detail in the pattern.

How do you like Christmas ornaments in turquoise? Is it enough Christmassy for your taste?
