Patterns in Lovable Amigurumi Toys vol 1

Are you curious of which designs are included in my new book “Lovable Amigurumi Toys”? Let me introduce you first 4 dolls, because that book is all about cute amigurumi dolls.

In “Lovable Amigurumi Toys” there are dolls for girls as well as for boys. There are dolls who remind us of real kids, but there are also some who are more like fantacy or fairy-tale creatures. I really wanted to include a wide range of different designs.

The boy with the glasses is named Sebastian. He is one of the first dolls I designed for the book. His characteristics is strongly based on my elderly son who was just like an oldman when he was only a little boy. The way he talked and understood things. At the age of 6-10 he was wearing glasses too.

The baby bumblebee is inspired by babies. It`s something sweet you can crochet as a gift for a newborn. It`s completely soft and doesn`t have safety eyes or any other stiff parts.

Mighty robot was one of the toys I really wanted to include in the book as there is always too little for boys. It`s designed a couple of years ago and I find it insanely cool. So powerful, so strong. A real superhero whom little boys admire.

Little Ella on the right is almost like a fairy, only without the wings. As you can already guess, she was inspired by a fairy-tale named Thumbelina. She is unique in my doll collection, because I haven`t previously made such small dolls.

A new post is coming soon, because I have 11 more dolls to introduce you :)
